Provisions have also been made that offences which are not serious in nature but require adjudication by courts are determined in a less time consuming manner.

 

This will help make the whole process of new IPO’s more transparent and open. Companies and persons trying to fleece the public through the IPO route will not get away lightly now and will be answerable and face much harsher and stringent penalties including imprisonment.
